Holy Moses, this painting... I started this last November! I put a pin in it to work on some other projects, and would pick it back up every now and again to update it. I had no clue it was going to take almost a full year in order to complete. Even as I look at it now, I feel like it could still use some more work; but I need to let it go! So here it is; my 2018 Winter painting of a Snow Leopard caught stealing the kill of a White Tiger.

The time is finally here! Welcome to Drawtober 2019! And my sincerest welcome back to Hallow’s Eve! All the residents of our spooky filled town are so very happy that you’ll be spending the whole month of Halloween here; sight seeing all that the Eve has to offer. Our first stop will be at The Witch’s Garden- a smorgasbord for potions and brews. The most popular shoppers are obviously the Wicca and Witches. They come from far and wide, searching for that much needed ingredient to create that perfect spell. Good and Bad Witches are welcome, you might even find the traveling Hobill gathering goods for his spell of Shakespeare. Happy picking! Let’s stop at the local Pub for a drink or two for this next leg of the Tour! Welcome to The Rotten Blood, established by Count Nosferatu back in 1929 for the Upper Crust Vampires of Hallow’s Eve. Now a days, all are welcome to pull up a stool and have a drink. From the Royal Counts to Red Collared Blood Collectors; even the King of Sixpence is known to be a regular here! So make yourself comfortable and order the House special! But watch your neck, these patrons might bite. We’ll need to venture through the Woods of Many Wolves if we want to continue our tour of Hallow’s Eve. Is it dangerous? Most defiantly, especially on a Full Moon. But tonight we’re in good company, as Quincey Van Helsing was spotted in the Woods earlier clearing out a path for us. These woods are his playground, and slaying Werewolves of any kind is his specialty. Feathered Howlers, Lycanthropes, or Zhongshan wolves won’t scare him away. However, it looks like Quincey bit off a little more than he can chew. The Rabid Rover, his old nemesis, is even joining in this assault. We better get a move on, before Quincey’s more lunar-active side claws out. Wait…what’s that tall, faceless creature behind those trees…? Phew, made it! Welcome to the Hallow Eve’s Town Centre! So many different shops and businesses are awaiting us! The evening is yours; you could stop into Bandaged Treasures to look at the jewelry of the Ancient Pharaoh of the Undead. Check out Death’s watch emporium to check the time, and how longer you have until he pays you a visit. If you fancy a bite to eat; Lovett’s Meat Pies is a great place to try. However, don’t accept the complimentary shave from the barber upstairs. Or if you’d like to see something unique, stick around until dusk when the Ghost of Christmas Past lights up the street lamps. This is the only time of the day that The Moth Girl travels out to the Centre to perform an aerial dance, and she loves to have tourists join in the fun! Tres Bien! Our next stop is the Pumpkin Graveyard Patch, to pick out your very own pumpkin for carving! The Candlelit Gravekeeper, Quartermaine, is waiting for us- as he’s been having trouble with someone stealing his pumpkins. Or more like something. It doesn’t have a name, but he calls it the Pumpkin Glutton; as it comes out to gorge on the patches around the Graveyard’s hills. For years, Quartermaine has had problems with this creature, along with the notorious Pumpkin Butcher- a masked madman that loves nothing more than preying on the Jack-o’lantern people who live in the Patch. However, it looks like he’s got some trouble of his own tonight, as the Slasher Chick seems to be wanting to butcher the Butcher. What a lively scene for a cemetery! Better pick out a pumpkin quick, before the Glutton swallows it! And so, our tour of Hallow’s Eve ends with a sweet filled Halloween Party- hosted by the Master of Temptation himself; Baron Samedi! As long as you offer the good Baron with something sweet to smoke, you’re welcome to partake in the Sweet Temptations for as long as you’d like. Enjoy yourself, it’s Halloween after all! Thank you all again for partaking in our Tour of Hallow’s Eve for Drawtober this year! I had a blast taking you around and showing you all there was too see. Now it’s time to party, then take a long rest from all the spooky things. But not for too long! Mwahaha! Happy Halloween!! |
